Refund & Cancellation Policy

hunr sells prepaid challenge credits to organizations: one credit is consumed when one challenge is published. Credits are sold in packs at the prices published on our pricing page by Kodaksh Private Limited, and unused credits do not expire.

The contingency placement fee (see the Terms of Service) is separate from credits: it is not paid at checkout and is only invoiced after you actually hire through hunr, so it is not subject to this checkout refund policy.

• Unused credits are refundable on request within 30 days of purchase, pro-rated at the effective per-credit price of the pack they were purchased in.
• Spent credits (challenges already published) are not refundable — the service they pay for has been delivered.
• After 30 days from purchase, unused credits remain on your balance and usable indefinitely, but are no longer refundable except where required by law.

If a payment fails or is debited without credits being added to your account, the amount is automatically reversed to your payment method per your bank’s timelines — typically 5–7 business days. If a reversal hasn’t arrived after that window, contact us with the transaction reference and we’ll trace it with the payment provider.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via our payment provider (PayU). Once we approve a refund, the provider and your bank typically take 5–7 business days to credit it. We do not issue refunds in cash or to a different instrument.

You can stop using the Service at any time. If you close your organization account, any credits still eligible under section 2 can be refunded on request before closure; other unused credits lapse when the account is closed.

Email [email protected] from an email address associated with your organization account, with the purchase reference (invoice or transaction ID). We respond within 1 business day and, for eligible requests, initiate the refund within 7 business days.
